Hello! My WB Samantha arrived on Friday, she is gorgeous, the only fault on her is some of her eyelashes are missing and when I was checking it some other have fallen But her face is soooo beautiful, her hair is lighter, it makes her look younger, I think. I have taken some photos of her with her sisters Samanthas (both PM dolls). Unfortunately my computer is still not recognizing the memory stick but my husband will put the photos on a CD tomorrow.
When I put her besides the other Samanthas I noticed she is smaller. Since she is my first WB doll I was surprised... Anyone have noticed this too?
It's her on my avatar, the picture is from Ebay.
Edited to say that by "smaller" I mean "shorter", the other dolls are taller...

My WB Molly and my niece's WB Kirsten are thinner than some of my other dolls. I would say they are as thin as some of the newer AGT's.

Thinner? I didn't notice that!!! They are all at my Mom's now (my old bedroom) but tomorrow I will check it out (she lives near me). My WB Sam is smaller in size, she is shorter than the others Samanthas and the other AG dolls I have too!!!

Thinner? Not in this house! We have two white bodied Mollys, and a white bodied Kirsten, and they are all rather chubby. Makes getting them into some of the outfits rather interesting. My Molly is in her play clothes, and those pants are a tight fit at the waist!

Congratulations on you new beauty!
I love the lighter hair of the earlier Sam's! it makes them look so cute!
Regarding them being smaller: it will depend on how compacted the stuffing is. My WB Sam is quite thin, but my WB Kirsten is quite chubby. And my WB Molly is a good half inch shorter than her sisters!
Considering that these girls are at least 17 years old... no wonder they come in all sizes!
Enjoy your new girl!

Hi Ana!!! Thanks! I love her hair, it's in mint condition! So your Molly is shorter than some other dolls? So it's not so uncommon, I was a bit worried! I guess they come in various sizes, hehehe... I will post the photos on Tuesday, make a new album, with some pics of my Molly (who will be Laura Ingalls as soon as an outfit I bought on Ebay arrives!!!).

None of my white-bodied dolls are thinner than my younger dolls, on the contrary. But I'll bet there's a lot of variation now among the WBs because they're all 20 yo or so and have been kept under a variety of conditions, not to mention receiving lots of hugs!

I was noticing that, too. My WB Kirsten does seem smaller than my other dolls. Not necessarily thinner, but definitely smaller in height.
